Mr. Purushothaman started Naturopathy treatment for two persons suffering from Arthritis. One among them was a 67 year old lady. She was given Allopathic treatment in one of the Bombay’s famous hospital for Osteo- Arthritis and could not find any effective relief. Then she went to Kerala and there she took treatment in one of the famous Ayurvedic centres. This treatment also could not the give her any relief. Then she came to know about Mr. Purushothaman and came to us for treatment, and the swelling of her knees got reduced by 1 inch. She continued her treatment for 55 days and the swelling in both her knees got reduced by more than 3 inches and her pain got relieved by nearly 80% and was able to walk without any assistance or without any walker. Then another gentleman, a Senior Vice – President in a big corporate office also got effective treatment from us. His pain and swelling due to Osteo Arthritis also was reduced by more than 80%.From then on Arthritis affected patients started coming to us as per the advice of friends and well wishers.

Thus “ADYAR NATURE CURE CENTER” was born.

The Centre functions from his own building which is his residence since 1975. More Arthritis affected people came to our centre and got effectively treated. This gave us more confidence and  we did research and development in Naturopathy treatment for Arthritis and also made some break throughs.
